Transitional House exists to provide a safe, structured, and empowering transitional home for women who have survived sexual exploitation and trafficking. Our mission is to be a safe place for each resident as she builds independence, strengthens life skills, deepens emotional healing, and establishes long-term stability.

Eligibility Requirements
The clients must have the following to qualify for transitional housing:
1. The client must have successfully completed the Scarlet Rope Project Residential
program.
2. The client must have their driver’s license, vehicle, and car insurance.
3. The client must have a full time job with at least a pay of $15 per hour.
4. 50 percent of fines must be paid off/payment plans must be set prior to entering
transition.
5. The client must not have any outstanding legal charges or active warrants.
6. The client must have a stable income plan, including a specific amount of money in their savings account before entering the transition home and must prove that they have a steady amount of income in their checking account to be self-sufficient while in the transitional home.
7. The client must be willing to actively participate in program expectations, including employment and case management.
8. The client must maintain sobriety and agree to substance-free living within the home.
9. The client must be willing and able to live cooperatively in a shared housing environment and follow house guidelines.
Program Length of Stay
RISE House is designed to provide residents with a structured and supportive
environment as they increase their independence. The program length allows residents time to strengthen life skills, maintain stability, and prepare for long-term independence. The program is designed for residents to stay 12-15 months.
During this time, residents are expected to:
1. Maintain stable employment.
2. Continue to build upon their savings account.
3. Continue mental health and trauma therapy services.
4. Schedule to meet with their case manager for progress review at least twice per month.
5. Build a healthy support system within the community.
6. Actively participate in the AA recovery program.
7. Develop financial independence and savings.
